Scenarios 1-4 on pg. 131

Scenario 1

1.1 ) A Spreadsheet would be the best for Mr. Gilbert to use.
1.2 ) The advantage for using a spreadsheet would be that the students would get done much faster because they wouldnt have to keep correcting errors and entering figures.
1.3 ) If I were doing the same project I would have the students work together because they can help each other, get the project done faster, and help each other understand.

Scenario 2

2.1 ) The students have many advantages when they use word processing. It helps students make corrections more efficiently, which motivates them to more and take more interest in there school work.
2.2 ) It is an advantage for the students to post the completed story on the internet because, all the students will be able to go back and see what they completed and it will make them feel good about themselves because they can say they had a part in that story. They will also be able to show there loved one.
2.3 ) If I was Mr. Hern I would have all the students make there own ending to the story so they can see how many was you can go with a story and it will help them with there writing and brainstorming.

Scenario 3

3.1 ) It did not provide the benefit she expected because word processing does not caught every spelling mistake and doesn't really help when it comes to grammer.
3.2 ) I think the students papers weren't as well developed as they usually are because they were focasing so much on the spelling and grammer. Also, all the students were together working in the lab. If they students worked by themselves they would probably get more done.
3.3 ) If she tries this again I would suggest she have her students do more out side of school and, I would have go over more tips on grammer because they have obviously forgot. I would also, tell them to use a dictionary if they wasn't sure about the spelling.

Scenario 4

4.1 )  You could use a database.
4.2 )  The advantages would be that the calculations would get done faster.
4.3 )  I would do something a lot like Mr. Borodin did. I would have the students pick out a house and job they want and then have them do the calculations.
